Be Aware ...

Media Commands tries to push the power of your CPU and graphics card to their limits, so system performance will be much enhanced at lower screen resolution such as 800 x 600.

Media Commands requires a graphics card with Direct 3D support and a proper driver installed. User who doesn't have the required graphics card or just wants to apply the standard lyrics animation (2 lines alternating with progressive coloring) with NO 3D background animation, should disable "Use 3D animator for lyrics display" in the "System -> Drivers" page of "Preferences" for better system performance.

If user sees double images of fast moving text, user should set the vertical refresh rate of the graphics card to 60 Hz. If this doesn't solve the problem, try to apply less complicated lyrics or 3D background animation.

Since pitch-shifting is a CPU-intensive task, user shouldn't expect to have a very high sound quality in a real-time processing environment especially with low-end computers or when playing video/animation with pitch changed. If video/animation is a MUST requirement in such case, we suggest user to use a serious DSP software to generate another version of the audio file with a different pitch instead of shifting pitch in real-time. But if user has a Pentium 4 running over 800Hz or anything above, just disable "Reduce CPU load for better video display" in the "Audio -> Mixer" page of "Preferences" and enjoy your video/animation karaoke show with pitch-shifting.
