Media Commands supports full-screen 3D background animation through its powerful Animation Engine (Direct 3D support from graphics card is required). Although 3D animation performs according to the rhythm of audio and can't be run independently, it is still considered to be an attachable media file.
System-provided or user-defined 3D animation can be attached to an audio media file through the Animation page of the Media File Settings Editor (also see Tutorial For Beginner II). Some of the system-provided 3D animations use the attached image as the seed of the animation. If an attached image is not found, the default Media Commands logo image will be used instead.
User can also adjust the animation speed through from the popup menu of the Theatre (right-click on the image of the Theatre to get the popup menu). Unlike video settings, animation settings (except the location and the name of the animation file) can't be saved directly to an audio file in the playlist, but user can modify and save the settings to a new animation file through Animation Options, and then attach the new animation file to the audio file (see Tutorial For Beginner II).
User can attach an empty lyrics file to the audio file to replace the introductory lyrics of Media Commands if only 3D visual background is required.
Those who want to share their animation designs with other users, please send your animation file saved through Animation Options and the required image with title, author, remarks and other useful information if available to service@cdmi.net.
Caution: For less powerful computers, to maximize the performance when the frame rate drops (select from the popup menu of the Theatre to see the frame rate of animation), users should apply less complicated background and lyrics animation. System performance will also be greatly enhanced at lower screen resolution, such as 800 x 600. |
